These are the top three red vehicles to lease for Valentine's Day

Don't blink or you'll miss Valentine's Day. Wantalease.com, the nation's first online marketplace for new lease deals, has narrowed down the search for red vehicles this Valentine's Day forecasting which will be best to lease in February.

"It's apparent that manufacturers are still holding steady to many of the discounts they offered throughout the holiday season to kick off the new year," said Scot Hall, Executive Vice President of Wantalease.com. "With tax season just around the corner, many automotive brands will surely continue to offer attractive lease deals moving into April."

The top three red vehicles to lease for Valentine's Day are as follows:

The Audi A6 Premium in Red Metallic: The Audi A6 saw the largest price drop in January, with a -14.51% decrease in price. The vehicle is currently priced at $419 per month and offers a variety of tech options such as Apple Carplay, Amazon Alexa and SiriusXM to name a few.

The Subaru Legacy 2.5i in Crimson Red Pearl: The Subaru Legacy experienced a -4.46% price drop in January, bringing monthly lease payments down to $308 per month. The vehicle boasts a symmetrical all-wheel drive system as well as premium driver assist technology.

The Ford Explorer in Ruby Red: The Ford Explorer is another vehicle that experienced a significant price drop in January. The Explorer had a -12.84% price drop, bringing monthly payments to just $289. The vehicle has intelligent 4WD that optimizes powertrain and braking systems, allowing the vehicle to deliver the right amount of traction to match all driving conditions.

While the Explorer, Legacy and A6 experienced the greatest price drops in January, the Nissan Sentra is the most affordable vehicle of the month. The Sentra has maintained its price for the past three months, with monthly payments as low as $139.

Which vehicles aren't a deal this month? According to Wantalease.com, the vehicles with the largest increase in monthly payment are the Chevrolet Equinox with a +15.92% increase, and the Ford Ranger with a +11.87% increase in price.

Honda details all-new 2023 HR-V

The HR-V is Honda's smallest and most affordable SUV, slotting into the automaker's catalog beneath the long-running CR-V. The entry-level HR-V got a complete overhaul for 2023 that brought a new powertrain, updated technology, and refined styling that aligns closely with the new Civic Sedan.

Honda offers the HR-V in three trims: LX, Sport, and EX-L. While the 2022 HR-V got a 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the 2023 model gets a larger 2.0-liter engine that produces 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. It's mated to a continuously variable transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive. The new SUV comes with hill descent control for the first time in a Honda, and three drive modes are included.

Inside, a 7-inch touchscreen comes standard that runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A larger 9-inch screen comes in the top EX-L trim that adds wireless smartphone connectivity. The EX-L trims also gets wireless charging and navigation. Both touchscreens come with a physical volume knob for easier interactions with the system. All models are wider and longer than before, which improves interior passenger and cargo space.

All 2023 HR-Vs come with Honda Sensing safety equipment. The package has been updated for 2023 with a traffic jam assist feature and traffic sign recognition. Honda offers blind spot monitoring for the first time in an HR-V, and a driver attention monitoring system comes standard.

The new HR-V starts at $24,895, including a $1,245 destination charge. The range-topping EX-L all-wheel drive model starts at $30,195. Honda says the new SUV will go on sale soon.

Subaru announces refreshed 2023 Legacy

Sedans are a dying breed as SUVs and pickup trucks take over, but there are still a few compelling options out there, and Subaru has one of them. The Legacy has been a long-time part of the Subaru lineup, and the all-wheel drive family sedan got a notable update for 2023.

Subaru offers the sedan in five trims: Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring XD. The automaker updated the Legacy with a facelift that brought a new front fascia, redesigned front bumper and new LED lighting. The car features a low dash and open cabin for great visibility in all directions, and the top Touring XT trim offers high-end accommodations, including Nappa leather and metal trim inside.

Every Legacy comes with the latest version of Subaru Starlink infotainment software. It runs on an 11.6-inch display and offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard equipment. Higher trim levels get the same display with navigation and a new-for-2023 what3words integration.

The 2023 Legacy comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. The top two trims come with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come with a continuously variable transmission that offers an eight-speed manual shift mode.
