A few upgrades headline recent news about the Lexus RX for the 2021 model year as well as a new special edition, the 2021 Lexus RX F Sport Black Line. The model was given a mid-generation refresh for the 2020 model year.

All 2021 Lexus RX 350 and 450h models receive standard blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert technology. Additionally, power-folding automatically dimming mirrors are standard. Buyers can now opt for a wireless charger.

Lexus has renamed the F Sport Performance Package the Handling Package. It includes the base F Sport package and adds an adaptive variable suspension that is based on the Lexus LC 500. Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management is added on the RX 350 with the package (it's already standard on the RX 450h). A sound generator, electric power sport steering, moonroof, and heated/ventilated seats are also included.

As it has with the GS, ES, and NX, Lexus is introducing a RX F Sport Black Line for the 2021 model year. The company will create 750 RX 350 F Sport Black Line SUVs and 250 hybrid F Sport versions. Each model has the unique design elements of the RX F Sport and gets a body side graphic on both side rockers, black 20-inch wheels, dark grille surround, black seats with white accents, and blue stitching. Black Line floor mats, cargo mat, and key gloves are also included.

The RX Black Line models will be offered with either an Ultra White or Grecian Water paint job.

Additionally, like each Lexus Black Line Special Edition series vehicle, the RX models will come standard with a Zero Halliburton two-piece luggage set that was designed exclusively for the brand. Each features a chrome logo badge laser etched with "Zero Halliburton for Lexus", a sumptuous interior lining, a Lexus grille motif and a Lexus embossed leather logo badge. The set consists of a 22-inch Continental Carry-on and a 26-inch Medium Travel Case - both black.

The new 2021 Lexus RX F SPORT Black Line special edition is now available. The suggested MSRP for RX 350 Black Line is $50,635, and RX 450h Black Line MSRP is $51,885.
