The two-door Lotus Exige has shifted a bit in its place as part of the Lotus lineup over the last 20 years, growing to be a more powerful and deliver top-notch drive dynamics. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the model, Lotus has created the Lotus Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary edition.

Though new, the 20th Anniversary edition features retro-inspired looks and exterior features relating back to the 2000 model. It has a body-colored roof, side air intake pods, and rear wing. The car features a black ‘shark fin’ stone chip protector ahead of the rear wheel.

Inside the nostalgia continues. Buyers can choose from a variety of Alcantara trim options. Each seat features paneled stitching that is reminiscent of that car from 20 years ago.

To celebrate the milestone, Lotus has design a “20th Anniversary” black silhouette logo featuring the profile image of the Series 1. It can be found on the front wings above the side repeaters and on the rear bumper. In the cabin, it is embroidered on the seat backs and embossed on the car’s dashboard build plaque. Each model features the logo one the rear wing end–plates as well.

Buyers can purchase the model in their choice from three exterior colors: Chrome Orange, Laser Blue and Calypso Red. All those colors were originally offered on the Exige Series 1. Additionally, Lotus has made Saffron Yellow – a colour reminiscent of the original Norfolk Mustard Yellow – Motorsport Black, and Arctic Silver available.

The car’s list of standard equipment includes Nitron three-way adjustable dampers with variable bump and re-bound settings. The car’s front splitter, access panel, and tailgate are all carbon fiber.

Buyers can opt for DAB digital radio with Bluetooth, cruise control, ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels, an Alcantara steering wheel, carbon fibre sill trim, lightweight lithium-ion battery, and titanium lightweight exhaust for a premium.

The price of the Lotus Exige Sport 410 20th Anniversary is £79,900 (€83,613), which represents £5,412 worth of extras over the standard Sport 410. The first cars will be with customers in selected international markets later this year.
