The 2021 BMW X2 Edition M Mesh is a new package addition to the company's crossover lineup.
BMW X2 sDrive28i and xDrive28i models will be available with a special edition package for the 2021 model year. The 2021 BMW X2 Edition M Mesh adds a number of sporty accents with a $3,550 price tag.
The package includes the BMW M Sport X exterior package, M Mesh kidney grille, and new 19-inch M Aerodynamic Style 919M wheels with orange or black highlights. Buyers can choose their car's metallic paint job, with Brooklyn Grey Metallic added to the options list for the first time.
Twenty-inch wheels are available. Buyers can choose from all-season or summer performance tires.
Each model is driven by a twin-turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and steering wheel paddle shifters, can get from zero to 60 mph in 6.3 to 6.6 seconds, depending on model chosen. The crossover's speed tops out at 144 mph.
Interior appointments include Edition badging and M Sport Seats with leather upholstery.
Each model comes standard with an 8.8-inch high-resolution touch screen, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and satellite radio. Wireless charging is available.
The X2 with the package comes standard with front collision warning with city collision mitigation, lane departure warning, speed limit information, and automatic high beams. Active cruise control with stop & go is available as an option.
The package is priced at $3,550. The MSRP for the 2021 X2 sDrive28i is $36,600 plus $995 Destination and $38,600 plus $995 Destination for the X2 xDrive28i.
Production of the 2021 BMW X2 Edition M Mesh begins in November.
